About us

Get It Done Tree Care is a Brisbane-based consulting arborist company serving homeowners, builders and property managers across South East Queensland. We make tree assessments and reports straightforward, with clear advice and practical recommendations by our Level 5 arborists, so you know exactly where you stand.
The business was founded in 2020 by Sam Schriever, a qualified AQF Level 5 arborist who studied plant and soil science at the University of Queensland.
Our approach is reflected in our name: get it done, and getting it done properly. We take the time to understand what you need, work through the details and explain the outcome in plain English. From the first conversation to the finished report, we aim to make the process easy for you.

Which areas do you cover?
We work across Brisbane, Moreton Bay, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Redland, Logan & Ipswich. Brisbane is home ground, and the council-specific guidance on this site goes deepest there.
What will it cost?
Reports start at $660 including GST for a standard single-tree assessment, and every service on this site carries a published starting figure. You get a fixed quote before any work begins, and that quote is what you pay. The full price list and a cost calculator are on the pricing page.
How soon can you come out?
Quotes usually come back the same business day, and a site visit generally follows within a few days of you accepting. The report itself is 2–3 business days from the visit. Where a deadline is tighter, a rush turnaround of around 48 hours is often possible — say so when you enquire and you will get a straight answer on whether it is achievable.
What is a consulting arborist?
A consulting arborist assesses trees and writes reports, rather than cutting them. The distinction matters because councils will not accept a removal justification from the contractor who stands to be paid for the removal. A consulting arborist provides the independent assessment your application rests on.
Do you also remove trees?
No, and that is deliberate. This practice does not sell removal or pruning. The entire value of an independent report is that there is nothing in it for us whichever way the assessment lands — so if the finding is that the tree should stay, that is what the report will say. It is also why councils treat a consulting arborist's report differently from a removal contractor's.
