Questions before you book
How soon can you come?
Usually within 2–3 days, sometimes same day!
Do you clean up?
Yes! We pride ourselves on leaving your yard better than we found it. While grinding we use a protective shield so chips don’t scratch your fence, and after we’re done we do a final rake of the stump, a blow-down of the area and hose off any debris.
Where do you service?
Brisbane and Moreton Bay.
Do I need to be home?
No. As long as we can get through the gate to the stump, you don’t need to be there. We’ll text you when we arrive, and send you a picture when we’re done. Many clients trust us in their yard when they’re not home, which is why we’re rated 5 stars on Google and Facebook.
When do I pay?
When the job is done, by cash or card!
Will it damage my lawn?
Generally not, and we do our best to keep your lawn looking pristine!
What our stump grinding includes
Every stump is priced before we start, and the job is done when the ground is level and tidy. Here’s what’s included:
-
A site check before we grind
We check for irrigation, services and old footings around the stump, and whether any roots belong to a protected tree that is staying.
-
Grinding below ground level
The stump and root flare are ground out to around 150 to 300 mm below the surface, deeper where you are building, paving or planting.
-
Surface root grinding
Roots running out from the stump are chased below the surface, priced on how far they run.
-
Cleanup
The grindings are raked back into the hole and the area left tidy.
